Eve7 Swimwear

Eve7 Reversible "Bardot" Bikini There is a lot in a name. I have grown to appreciate the beauty, quality and kindness of a small business like Eve7. They are a family owned boutique that makes swimwear in Carlsbad, California. Not only are the bikinis exceptional but the quality of customer service is fantastic. Eve7 makes hand-made and custom-order swimwear right here in the USA. But wait, there's more! They have XL tops that will fit bra sizes of DD and you can request XXL for F+ for a perfect fit. Most of them are reversible too! The bikini I'm wearing in this picture reverses to gold/nude. You can see more photos of Eve7 swimwear on Instagram: @foxyandpaige @eve7swimwear The fabric, fit and the "compliments" make me want to wear it often. Check out Eve7.com today because they even have cute swimwear for Halloween. When I asked the meaning behind the name "Eve7" it touched my heart. Seen below is the owner/designer of Eve7. Don't want tan lines?!

Forever 21 You're better off with a bandeau if you want to avoid the dreaded tan lines on your neck, chest and shoulders. Bandeaus can also help with your style and overall look. I like mine tight so that I do not have to keep pulling it up or you could look for one that has removable straps. Seafolly and Vitamin A make amazing bandeaus that come in many colors. You could also get a bandeau one-piece! The beautiful bikini in this picture was also a bargain because it was on sale! Be on the look out for your next bandeau. I'm ready for the Bahamas with this bikini! Shop for women's swimwear at Surfshop (click here)

I've got you "covered."

L*Space A lot of people have complimented my beautiful cover-up . It has fabulous crochet detail on the front and on the sleeves. It is by L*Space and it's also available in navy, olive or lavender. Monica Wise, the owner/designer , has made L*Space a  stylish and no-fuss California lifestyle brand with swimwear, shoes , cover-ups and more. I had the pleasure of meeting Monica Wise and she is a lovely woman. I wear this cover-up over my swimsuit, as a dress and as a shirt so I think it's totally worth it! I also have my eye on their newest "Lagoon" bikini. Live, Lounge, Laugh and Love with L*Space!
Be who you knew you were when you were young.

Be proACTIVE

Pigeon River, TN When we went white water rafting this summer, it prompted me to write about "adventure" wear. You are going to want to be prepared and wear the proper swim attire when you are active like this. It's the one time I'll say NOT to wear your string bikini. We can't be retying strings when paddling down category 4 raging waters. When I was surfin' the bull up in the front, I was so happy I was covered in my Maaji shorts and a supportive top. Shoes must be worn so I chose my Roxy slip-ons. If you like to do water sports like this, it would be a good time to wear swimwear I've written about previously; one-pieces, high necks, high waist, shorts, Lip Ripper, rash guards, etc. Be prepared and you can enjoy the ride.

Ti amo!

Bikini from Rome, Italy Love is what makes the world go 'round. I started this new adventure just a few months ago, not knowing much about managing/marketing a blog or how it would go. My friends and family know that I had zero social media before this- and that I spend more time having fun than on the computer (and still do!) But I knew that I know swimwear, have a lot of ideas, want to share with others and am learning new things all the time. A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step and we are all growing each new day. We should take time to stop and smell the roses. I want to l et you know I appreciate YOU for reading and sharing my posts. I sincerely thank you for following my blog, my Instagram and/or my Google Plus. I especially t hank you for the kind words. They are easy to speak but their echoes are endless. When you share with others and give me positive feedback, it makes me smile- and I hope to make you smile too! Let me know if you have any sugge...

Gotta-have Gottex

Profile Blush by Gottex Have you ever heard of Gottex? Gottex is an iconic brand with many different types of swimwear with beautiful fabrics. The designer is only 35 and she has accomplished so much success already! Gottex uses special fabrics with sun protection, comfort and less water retention. There is something for everybody fitting a broad range of sizes; one pieces, bikini tops and bottoms, skirts, tankinis, etc. The best part is that women with large busts are able to find a bikini top that fits. Profile Blush, as seen in this picture, has tops that go up to DDD/F! Wahoo!

You can achieve what you believe!

Paige's first home-made bikini While teaching a fashion design class to teenagers one summer, I told them they could design and make whatever they wanted. Of course, I decided to sew a bikini from scratch. Sometimes it's hard to find exactly what you want and the beautiful bikini in this picture is exactly what I had imagined. I got to design it to my liking. I bought yards of fabric and made a pattern by tracing around my favorite fitting bikini. I used a sewing machine to complete it in just a few hours. It’s amazing what you can do when you form an idea and when you put your mind to something. Shortly after, lace bikinis like this were everywhere! I'd love to hear your stories too.

Your Sister Size

www.sizechart.com You may know your bra size but, did you know it had a sister? See the above chart as a way to help make shopping for bikini tops easier for you. There are many swimwear brands with tops that are fitted to your bra size. You can fit correctly into more than just one size. The actual cup size usually gets bigger with the band size. For example, if you wear a 36D, you could also wear a 34DD or if you wear a 38DD, you could also wear a 40D. Even if they don't have your "exact" size, knowing the corresponding fit for you will help you when shopping. Even then, I recommend trying on. With an open and knowledgeable mind, a different size may be the winner. The teacher in me wants you to memorize the part of this chart that relates to you. Do your homework and it could save you frustration in the future.
