FOX

Having lived in Florida my whole life, I can honestly say that I'm comfortable with myself enough to wear a bikini on the daily. Sadly, having "Social Media" for only 6 months has made me second guess myself. This was the easiest picture I ever took because I did not care about my face, stomach or legs. I still thought, "Maybe I should take another photo because my hands look weird." You probably just looked and thought, "Ya, they do." It's okay because it's what is on the inside that counts. I can only imagine how other women are feeling. If you ever feel insecure- just know that I do too, you are not alone and it is not your fault. Society is making many people feel like looks are what matters; especially in media, movies and magazines. Appearances are just appearances. We should be supporting good people and good companies regardless. We have to remember that imperfection is beauty and how we live is what matters. The true way to feel self-confident is to be real and kind. Only then can women be happy enough with themselves to not care what they look like in a bathing suit. The Fox bikini in this picture may not be my "prettiest" swimwear but it shows a glimpse of my personality. Post pictures of you in your bathing suit without care and remember that you are beautiful in your own way.  I just wish more people would stop caring so much about looks and be pretty on the inside. 1. Absolutely agree with the article! Society should not make people uncomfortable simply because on how they look like. Regardless, people need to do their best to stay healthy, look good and be happy.

Warning: This may shock you!

One pieces are back and better than ever. They are naturally flattering and super slimming. The right pattern/design can enhance or downplay areas, while holding everything in. Teenagers, mothers and women of all ages are following the trend. And, you don't even have to be part of the skinny b's club. I’ve seen the Becca one-piece in this photo on all sizes and it looks good! It's also available in black, white and blue. It's a "plunge" that is tastefully see-through with a low back. Some brands cover less (like Billabong, L*Space, Ale and Vitamin A) and some cover more. Wear one with shorts and you'll have a body suit too. What's the harm in trying some on? I bet you'll get many compliments.

Live a Luminous Life

The logo is luminous. The bikinis are luminous. The vibes are luminous. The owner has the most wonderful, positive energy about her and her kindness shines bright. You too can let your light shine with this new, radiant swimwear brand called Luminous Sol.

I'm wearing the Ella top in a blush palm print that reverses to a lovely lilac color. Both are sensational colors on the skin! When you reverse the suit to the lilac side, the strings are still the pink palm print and it looks like heaven together. The fit and feel is excellent with an adjustable lace-up back. One of the things I loved most about it is that there was no padding, which made it look and feel smooth (along with a quick dry-time.) We are going to give away the sliding-triangle Anya top in the above sunset photo to one lucky winner on Instagram so, be sure to follow us, @foxyandpaige and @luminoussolswimwear, to be entered into the drawing.

I just love my bottoms because they are side-tie with a brazilian "scrun…

BEST. SWIMSUIT. EVER.

When one of my friends told me he had heard about a company that let's you put a picture of your dog on your swimsuit (and knew it would be right up my alley of course), I went straight to my lap top and began searching for it. It didn't take long as the crowd-funding buzz had started to make it's way around the internet. I found the website and had a look for myself. This fabulous company is from Australia and called Petflair. Am I the only one who goes straight to the "about us" section or do you do that too? It helped me to see that this was a company I wanted to support because not only is it a great story with a unique idea but Petflair donates 25% of it's profits to Pound Paws (a charity for abandoned pets.)

I decided I needed to find out more about the making of swimsuits with our pets. These babies are $99, which is reasonable, especially for a customized suit with your dog! However, I was concerned with their Australian sizing because one of the mos…

Vitamin Sea

We all need some Vitamin Sea, literally. Without the ocean and marine life, we cannot survive. Why not head to the beach in a tank that supports the sea? I wore the tank I’m sporting in the above photos to New Smyrna Beach, Florida. It happens to be the “shark bite capital of the world” where the locals, tourists and I embrace sharks. It’s important to understand and appreciate nature in all it’s capacities.

Being mindful about what we purchase is a simple, ethical step to help the environment. I really love sharks. Just the other day, I ordered my teacup Pomeranian, Foxy, a shark costume online from a big company. Foxy weighs 4 pounds and I got her the extra-small shark costume. It arrived in a plastic bag bigger than my desk and inside was another plastic bag plus unnecessary plastic “stuffing.” For the tiniest dog costume ever? Going out to people all over the world? So much waste of ocean-life-killing plastic. There wasn’t even a nice note inside either. When my Vitamin Sea packa…
